Parkland Professional Hockey School is returning for a seventh season and will be hosted again this year by Brad Church.
Brad, a former Dauphin resident, is a 1995, 1st round draft pick of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. He played for the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, and the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League.
He has been an instructor at several professional hockey schools and is once again happy to be returning to the Parkland Region to help young male and female players improve their hockey skills in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Brad would like to thank the sponsors, instructors, Dauphin Recreation Services and participants for their involvement in the past and he looks forward to offering another successful school in July of 2012.
Once again Nolan Baumgartner, Trent Whitfield, Mark Odut and Taylor Schmidt are returning to help Brad. They will provide on-ice instruction in power-skating, shooting, passing, stick handling, and game situation drills. Off-ice instruction will include a variety of sports activities designed to promote fitness, sportsmanship, and team building.
