Brad Church
Brad was a professional player for 10 years and close to 700 games. He played in the NHL, AHL, and ECHL. He retired from playing in 2005 and stepped directly behind the bench as an assistant coach for the Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL. During his first season he was promoted to Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations and held that position until the team ceased operations at the end of the 2009 season. The Roadrunners served as the AA affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and help in the devlopment of many of the Sharks young prospects.
Brad is currently the Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations for the Portland Junior PiratesJunior Hockey Teams. He manages all aspects of the teams operations on a daily basis and also serves as the youth hockey director for MHG assisting in the skills sessions and overall devlopment of the Portland Junior Pirates youth teams.
Brad was recently named the 2010-2011 Atlantic Junior Hockey League Coach of the Year

- Scored 24 goals and 17 assists in his rookie season with the Missouri River Otters
- Selected to play in the 2005 UHL All-Star Classic
- Scored his first professional goal in his first professional game (10/15/04 @ Kansas City)
- Was the two time MVP of the Sait Trojans (ACAC)

- Was the leading point scorer for the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL
Nolan Baumgartner

2010 – 11 Moose captain Nolan Baumgartner was the winner of the Cargill-Julian Klymkiw Community Service Award this season for his work off the ice which included a visit to Lord Roberts Elementary School as part of the Respond to Reading program
The Manitoba Moose are proud to announce team captain Nolan Baumgartner has been named the team’s winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to the Manitoba community during the 2010-11 season.
Baumgartner was named the captain of the Manitoba Moose at the beginning of this season for his leadership on the ice. But through his many seasons with the Moose, he has equally proven to be a leader off of it. Baumgartner is the team’s leading presence in Moose sponsored events in the community and became the franchise leader in AHL games played this season surpassing former captain Mike Keane’s benchmark of 368 games.

WHITFIELD EARNS LEAGUE HONOR
Named Team's 2010-11 IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 19th season in the American Hockey League, today announced that Trent Whitfield has been named the team's winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to the Providence community during the 2010-11 season.
While recovering from an offseason Achilles injury that kept the Providence veteran out half the season, the 13th year Whitfield was always the first to volunteer his time in order to stay involved. The alternate captain frequently visited schools to talk to children and also appeared at several other local Rhode Island community events.
At the arena, he participated in Toys for Tots and Rhode Island Food Bank collections on the concourse prior to games while injured. Now healthy, Whitfield often signs autographs for youth hockey groups prior to his own games.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Providence Bruins center Trent Whitfield has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Month for March. Whitfield scored 12 goals and added 10 assists for a league-best 22 points in 13 games during the month.
